Skin rejuvenation is the most popular area of modern aesthetic cosmetology. Moreover, nowadays, more and more often, progressive non-invasive (without violating the integrity of the skin) and even non-contact methods of exposure are preferred. And one of the innovative and effective methods is plasma rejuvenation (non-surgical plastic).
Most, if not all, types of skin resurfacing are based on the principle of controlled damage to the skin, which triggers the regeneration process, which ultimately leads to a reduction in visible signs of aging. The plasma method works just as well, but there are a few tricks.
First, the active substance, plasma, is a high-energy ionized gas. Second, the nitrogen used is chemically inert and suppresses tissue inflammation by displacing the oxygen required for the oxidation process. As a result, the layers of the skin are damaged by plasma (due to heating, splitting and evaporation), but under the influence of ablative lasers they do not burn, so no open wounds are formed. This approach reduces the risk of side effects such as scarring, infection and discoloration.
What to expect from plasma rejuvenation
Reducing existing age-related changes, preventing their progression and their early emergence. The procedure has a pronounced lifting effect (due to the "evaporation" of the skin flap), smoothes the skin relief, improves and evens the skin tone, reducing the depth of dynamic and static wrinkles, smoothing the course of natural folds. Moreover, the result not only appears immediately after the start of the treatment course, but also gradually increases over several months. The greatest effect can be expected after about 3 months.

- ENT diseases in the acute stage (sinusitis and other forms of sinusitis, rhinitis, rhinosinusitis).
- Pregnancy period. At the same time, the procedure has a fairly high safety profile, since it does not cause systemic (general) changes and pronounced metabolic changes. And in medical publications there are reports of successful use of plasma rejuvenation in women carrying children. But it should be remembered that physiological hormonal changes during pregnancy affect the condition of the skin and can change the effectiveness of the procedure.
- Breastfeeding period.
- Blood diseases, but at the same time, the presence of mild iron deficiency anemia with satisfactory health is usually not a reason to refuse the anti-aging procedure.
- The acute period of infectious disease, the presence of increased body temperature.
- Diseases of the thyroid gland, accompanied by local or diffuse hypertrophy of its tissues and / or hormonal changes.
- Kidney and liver failure.
- Cardiovascular diseases in the stage of decompensation.
how to process
Plasma facial rejuvenation does not require special training, prior adherence to any diet or change in usual lifestyle. But a few days before the session, it is recommended not to use aggressive peeling and peeling, not to visit the solarium, and not to try new products and cosmetics for people with a tendency to allergic reactions.
Even in patients with a low pain threshold when using the device, local anesthesia is not required. The healing / rejuvenation session lasts 15-30 minutes, its duration depends on the severity of the problem and the area of the treated area.
The patient is seated in a cosmetology chair or on a sofa, and the treating specialist directs a pulsating current or a plasma current from the tip of the device to the skin without contact. At the same time, it is possible to choose the most suitable mode of operation for a particular patient. The session usually starts with a pre-treatment to prepare the skin for the next stronger effects and to reduce the intensity of the sensations experienced. After the procedure is completed, there is no need to apply to the treated area. It is recommended to avoid scrubbing, peeling, beach visits and solarium for the next 3 days.
The recommended number of procedures is 1-2 procedures per year.
